Is a non-numbers matching car worth the $165k asking price?

People paying top dollar for concours quality cars typically expect matching numbers. I'm only guessing but I'd say non-matching would knock at least 20% off the value of a car like the CPR one.

The best vintage Porsches for sale. The best classic Porsche for sale in California. The best air-cooled Porsches. California's Porsche restoration company, is an independently owned and operated business.

The car at CTS is no longer showing as "Under Offer". Guess the sale must have fallen through.

It was still in the window when I drove past this morning, with the green RS replica next to it.

I drive past every morning as well, still in the window this morning, it's been in the same spot for a bit now, normally the window spot gets rotated around a bit. Makes the drive pleasant if the light's red.

Has dropped off the Classic Throttle website and Carsales.com so presumably failed to sell and has been withdrawn from the market.

Same thing happened to that Sepia 2.4 at CTS a few months ago . . . not always easy to move these cars, particularly at big prices.

Nick, the Sepia 2.4 is advertised on the PCV website for $85K. It looks like its in Duttons South Yarra.

Hasn't that car been FS at Duttons in recent years?

                                Is it the colour?
