    Thanks John

I did plug in an in line water trap - before this you could see the water vapour coming out of the end of the air nozzle of the blowing trip. Mould grows like mad up here at this time of year

The specialist version with a cartridge might be the go though for some added protection.

    Cheers

I ran one of these for all my epoxy work.

Considering the humidity that you're dealing with, maybe ask a pro in the area.

Tony , what is cartridge life like?

Chris, it has an indicator that changes colour when it needs changing.

Life of the cartidge really depends on your setup, and environment.

I plumed in a second storage tank to my compressor, which lives under my house (no tiger stripes) and when I plumed my garage I ran copper pipe with two water traps/drains, to cut down on moisture......

I think the cartridges run at about $30 and I used two, but I only painted small sections at a time, as I finished working on them.

Apparently you can dry them out in the oven, but I didn't try.

Nothing like a long weekend for getting things done! Nice to see some large progress too. Plenty of time spent getting the short side panel and the rear corner to fit properly.

As you can see the rear corner took some serious adjusting and I think it went on and off about 40 times before I was ready to weld it. Still not 100% happy but its pretty good

The last photo is of the gas bottle tray for those not splitty savvy!

                            Really nice work Cam.

Is that foam in the channel? PO or VW?

I don't know Splitty's that well, but it looks like you're getting rather intimate!

Is that rear quarter bonded to support beams?

Looks like the replacement panels fit quite well.

Yep nice piece of foam Tony, no idea how it got there but both sides were the same. I used a Sika bonding compound and there are a few plug welds in strategic places as well

The panels aren't bad generally but always need some level of tweaking. The rear corner has been the worst so far.
