Picked this up earlier today from paintshop.
I hated this car for so long, stuck it in the corner after buying it. Buying sight unseen can be a dud..
Now over time, fixing many things that weren't right on it (with more fixes to come) finally starting to like it.
Sepia brown was going to be the change to original spec from the white that had been applied at some stage.
With the car not having the original engine number motor anymore and a roof from what I am told recently is off a 68 rally car I decided to go with what I wanted colour wise.
I am very happy with the olive green and can't wait to get it all assembled with new biys and pieces.

Thanks for the positive comments.
Was only going to paint the bonnet about 18mts ago because the paint was all flaking off underside. A mismatch in the paint and numurous issues with the rest of the car turned into a respray.
Like in the pic below where the tyre had hit the guard and burnt the paint and damaged the lip through what I can only put down to a previous owners off and the incorrect earlier rear trailing arms. fitted to the car.

Annual northern run with the brotherhood, 1500k's of Waterfall Way and the Oxley Hwy, epic roads, perfect weather, phenomenal early cars and great company. IMG_1384.jpgL1096073.jpgAttached FilesCraig
