I've used Rock Solid on two floors & it's fantastic. Do it on a cool day it goes off real quick. If it's a large area two people is easier & make sure the batch numbers are the same. Best to buy too much & use the roller to push/spread the liquid over the floor not like painting. Take back what you don't use. It has no UV qualities so it does fade & deteriares if in direct sunlight.

It was pi$$ing down rain and I go barreling into the shed in the 911, only to lock up the fronts and slide about two meters on the super clean and now wet slippery floor! I then wished that I’d put some textured finish on to at least give some element of grip...
Hmm, suggestions for texture..? Chuck some sand in it? I do like the pristine shiny look, but I see your point re wet tyres and barreling through the wrong end of the garage...

Rust-Oleum have a non slip additive. Also the coloured scatter flakes offer a level of grip.
        Jeeze, I sound like a Rust-Oleum rep!

Thanks - didn't see the non-slip stuff at Bunnings, might have to special order that. Either way the flakes are a must - will go nicely with the disco ball! Cheers for the advice.

Just a thought but when I did my floor in rock solid I left the flakes out - much easier to find dropped nuts etc when the floor is plain, not camouflaged

Getting close to chucking some paint on it now... in fact the guys reckon tomorrow they'll probably get started. It's been a few solid months of work to get to this stage. I eyeballed the test swatch they painted and it looks great. This could be a good week!

Leaf Green always sounded horrible until I saw one in the flesh at Ventura in early 2000's, how wrong I was, it is truly a great early 911 colour and rare too
