Welcome Josh, I'm in the same boat as you -- couldn't get into a 901, but absolutely love my '76. I went budget with my whale tail removal and just unbolted the thing because I couldn't bear to look at it. I just filled the holes with plugs and made myself a grille. I'll sort it out permanently down the track, but had other things to focus on at the time and just haven't got back to it!Simon Ravenscroft

911t
Hi Guys,
I have been lurking in the backgrounds for some time now. But finally after owning a 74 911S and 993 Turbo, i have realized that all i ever wanted was a small bumper car! So here it is, 1970 911T aussie delivered car now fitted with a 3L and 915. Originally built and raced by Ray Fowler, the car has since been through Ron Goodmans workshop making it what it is today. This car is insanely fast and i can honestly say its much more fun to drive than my old 993 turbo. I am now on the lookout for a totally original small bumper car, so hit me up if you have something of interestAttached FilesMickc

Here is my (almost) original rhd 73T Targa, UK delivered, matching number, its such a beautiful car, i am in love.
I believe it used to belong to a 901'er a few years ago?Save

Lovely looking example. I've a soft spot for the early Targa's and I owned a '73 E Targa in RHD for a number of years. I really loved the power delivery of the 2.4 MFI and the familiarity of a 915 pattern, not to mention the open air experience, though the wind noise was noticeable. It's funny but back then (late 90's) the Targas were not that desirable. My '73 E was rare in terms of production numbers but that did not make it easy to sell. I will not mention how much I moved it on for.
