Took the fuel cell up to Bayswater last week and Jason is working on the filler necks & fitment.
Jason had to cut a few mm of the glasfibre housing front and back, but the fitment is great; looks like Kevin Jeanette did a great job.
Funnily enough, the 3 brackets that are in the chassis for the standard fuel tank just work for the 120L FT3 fuel cell too; the engineers at Porsche in the early 70s keep on surprising me!
I have bought all of the missing parts (bolts, washers, bearings, etc) that I need for the suspension, borrowed a sandblaster & compressor from a mate to re-use some of the parts that came of the 76S donor, and dry-fitted the turbo cross-drilled discs, hats, hub, Zuffenhaus calipers and 9" wheel; it looks as if I do need a spacer of a few mm to clear the fins of those beautiful 917/RSR brakes.
