And it's all quite odd for cars that are apparently 1969 Aussie delivered sporto Ts (which should make them Karmann built rather than Stuttgart).John Forcier

looked up the email I received from porsche australia on my car (haven't sought a COA) - lists build date for my car of 01/08/69.
(as an aside, Porsche Australia has the correct engine details, whereas Porsche Germany has the gearbox number listed as the engine number!)
and we are now WAAAY off topic for the sale of a 2.2S!!Richard Griffiths

I pulled my COA and letter from Porsche AU... it just complicates things as it notes my car as a '69 but having been fitted with a 2.2 So now I'm really confused.
Yes sorry to steer so far from topicJohn Forcier

I tried to scan in the letter and COA but am having problems.
My car is definitely a '69... It would be nice to think it's a "one off" but I suspect it is an error on behalf of Porsche Cars Australia as the letter notes the engine as a 901/13 but goes on to say it has a 2.2 lt capacity with 125hp...
The COA from Germany simply indicates the car to be a bog-stock 911t mit sportomatic. No sunroof. Becker-SSG. and driver side wing mirror.John Forcier

(took a little to work out that they had mixed up the gearbox and engine numbers).Richard Griffiths
