I feel lucky that this 911 previously had just a 80's resale red paint job. We found under the red paint a straight, no hit, no rust, never widened, non played with car. I find it hard to believe that this Aubergine colour was painted over?

A big thank you to Clyde for directions along the way, so that I can do the right thing for this 911 restoration, his 11th hour input on the painting details on a 73 model were important.
