Out of interest did the floor you took out of the SC have the holes cut in the indentations?

Yep. So the front SC floor graft has holes, and the rear Restoration Design repro doesn't...

              Great shut lines!

With the handle recess did they beat the metal down into a female die?

Dave won't tell me how he does it other than to say its an old aircraft technique...looks like its beaten down to me with all the little marks in it. If he tells me he says he'll have to kill me

Looks great Clyde but I suspect you had better be sitting down when you get the bill.

Past experience has taught me many things one of which is to agree beforehand on a price to do a list of things.

That is how this project is proceeding I have agreed to supply and do certain things, Dave likewise, so unless I veer from that course the bill won't alter.

In my opinion its an entirely reasonable bill also especially for the care and attention to detail and quality of work

Got my 7' wheels back from Harvey today waiting on the delivery of the 9's

The 9's are correct style wheels but haven't been able to locate correct 7's yet so bought some 74 wheels cheap and had Harvey re do them in frosted finish as per factory ST

He does a much better job than Al Reed (I have Al Reed wheels for the 72 project car). The finishes are chalk and cheese.

This photo does not do them justice thay are perfect and the finish looks so durable as well, mind you takes a while to get them done.

Al Reed finish is much coarser and looks like it could easily come off (which I doubt it will)

Car is close to going to paint Dave has finished one door and working on the other.

Roll cage is done I have not done it in alloy purely for safety I will have to lose some weight to make up for the extra weight it adds to the car

Had to add in the harness attaching points to the rear parcel shelf as the replacement shelf was from an early model which didn't have the points

John Gausden form NZ provided the required part to weld in.

9's arrived from Harvey, just perfect as usual.

Elephant racing is supplying the crossover oil line kit after developing it for another ST project in the USA it links to later 3.2 coolers which are hideden behind stone guards anyway
