    New purchase

I recently bought this car from Duttons

1973 UK delivered E with lots of options

Oxford Blue (329) a striking colour with tan interior. Recaros are gone but Phils seats there in their place, a good substitute.

Aside from the motor and gearbox its numbers matching....

    Sports seats,
    sunroof,
    elec windows
    rear wiper
    rear nudge bar
    S trim
    chrome wheel arch trims
    tinted glass
    f and r sway bars
    6 x 15 fuchs

Cars isn't perfect, has been modified a bit for rally work but has retained lots of its original metal, sills etc all original and somehow the bottom isn't battered at all in fact one of the best I have seen in ages.

Its had a full Mike Tankard resto in 1998 and has been used sparingly since.

Car currently has a hot rod 1974 Carrera motor on Motec with a 1972 915 with LSD and close ratioo gears but that could be all about to change thanks to the help of Jason Carrol and a willing 3rd party........stay tuned for more updates on that front but could be pretty exciting news for this car.

          Nice car Clyde, congrats!

          Cheers,

          Harry.

Claimed to be the one of quickest under 3 litre car around its nice and goes well but I can tell you Harry our old engine in the 72T, when running pure on Motec, would have made toast of this car.

Congrats Clyde. I had a close eye on this myself and had enquired a couple of times for the back ground. If only Duttons were based in Sydney….. Love how the car is presented. Good buying!

Congrats Clyde, nice car. You need to get yourself a warehouse. Is that steering wheel 380mm?

I am thinking of returning the rear to correct RS spec with metal everything rather than fibreglass so I can add back the correct factory nudge bar. At the moment its a one piece fibreglass piece.
