All of your other road cars seem to have disappeared?? To the UK I suspect.
Change over of stock? and more info on the Boxster please.
Are Early Boxsters worth picking up as a weekend car? I'm being tempted by the new MX5 2 litre.
    Cheers

      Cars all here Paul

The Boxster was most impressive its an S so 3.2 it handled very well on the tight twisty stuff never stepped out of line once and I was trying reasonably hard

For $30k its a no brainer so long as the IMS issue has been fixed by someone else as its a $3500 fix.

As the E had previously been fitted with an 85 litre tank (since replaced with later model steel one) and as I had also decided to retain the RS style features I went on the lookout for an RS 85 litre tank to fit back in.

As luck would have it I found this one but now a dilemma.

Its dated 10/72 which is in the sweet spot for a first series RS Carrera which is where this tank should reside so now hoping to find someone who has a first series RS who is happy to supply one of the repro tanks or a similar condition different dated tank.

                  Engine almost ready

Later tensioners for a bit more safety.

Clyde, what is the black paint you use on the side hinge covers to give the correct rough textured finish? I need to re paint mine at some stage.

Correct method is to air blow wet paint that's how they did it originally I believe.

I use a textured powder coating, doesn't look absolutely correct but does look excellent in my opinion.

Yes Cam you are right. They have sold this 'wrinkle finish' spray paint for a while. Popular with hotrod guys for rocker covers etc. Worth a test spray to see what it looks like.
