if someone has a ute i am more than happy to drive it down with the fuel and a load of tools etc...

we actually ran out of fuel last time... so everyone requiring fuel needs to speak up!! otherwise might have to put a padlock on the pump and only unlock it for those who pay the right 'administration' fee!!!

I can grab more drums if required, I just need to know Fuel Requirements.... Richard, hopefully I will get responses from everyone, so that we know how much we need. I will be fine as I will bring 100 in the truck, but I also have 4 x 20 litre drums that we can use too.

        80 ltr for me please.

Alex also ask them if competitors can unload on the Friday, it was a big mess on Saturday morning when everyone was trying to get in.

I don't think we can get in on Friday as I am aware, but I will email the promotors and see what can be done. I know I would like to do the same!

                Marcus, champion effort!

If we bring 200 litre drums down (which is probably easiest, then yes you will need to remove the hardtop.

They are basically like 44's but not as tall.

My guess is that we will bring 2 x 200's and 2x 50's, which should be enough, but we can always hit Mark up for 2 more 50's.

                So far:
                Hung at 80 litres
                Marcus at 60 litres

                next please!

Paul W, has also offered up his ute as a second fuel tanker... but as he said, with a 6.0 V8, he may have to use some of the supplies to get them down there!!

                      Jappy - 10/4

At this rate we will be needing both utes for Fuel!!!

Last entry is in today's mail.... so lets hope we are all in!

                      ON A SIDE NOTE:

Since we have 12 cars and drivers.... there may be some business's that ant to sponsor us.... long shot I know.

We could offer sticker placement on the car and drivers.

I would also like to get some T-shirts made if possible with some screen printers across the road.... idea are welcomed on both sponsorship and t-shirt design!

Yep, happy to make my ute available to anyone who wants to drive it down and back - though any takers will have to be responsible for their own traffic infringements! Mine's also got a hard toneau lid which can be removed with the help of a few volunteers. As a thought, if we're carting tools (and garden furniture for Brett) it might be an idea if someone has covered transport in case of bad weather. Suppose we've plenty of time to work all this out yet...

Better put me down for 80L too.

Tim, Jason, Mark, Spencer & Tony still need to give fuel requirements, otherwise we are on track.

Thanks for everyone being so prompt.

and as i said, i am happy to ditch taking the 911 if a driver is needed to get fuel/tools down to the island...
