thanks for all your hard work on upgrading the forum - much appreciated.

i'm still having problems with opening longer threads such as 'what did you get in the mail'. Even if i hit the double arrows ; which are also very small when trying to open on my phone or ipad.

Jason mentioned to me that on the home page his logo type is very small compared to the background/other logos - is there some way theis can be enlarged?

In the old system it was called "Recent Threads", I've added something with hopefully the right functionality as a sub heading under the Forum tab with the same name, let me know how it works. See a reply you like, click on 'Go To Post' and you're there.

Thansk Uwe. This works though is different to the old site as returns all updates rather than sorts by thread with latest update - all good with me

Hi Uwe

Another anomaly for you. When you go Forums > Recent threads > go to posts, and then try to reply to a specific message using '...' you don't get a 'quote' option so can't quote the message in your reply.

Hi Adam, I just clicked on the Quote on your post and it appears to work.
Can you see the Quote option and if so what does it do when you click it?

It was on the list of todo's, the only logo I had from the old site was very small and it wouldn't scale up nicely.

I've left a phone msg with Jason requesting a larger logo file.

If you click the double arrows it does got to the last post. It it a small button but its part of the system I don't think I can customise.

It can't click it on my phone either from the normal display, but if I do the expand gesture (zoom in) and then click, its OK

Does that work for you?

Getting to the last page of that thread is almost instant on my home wifi on laptop or ipad and also on my android phone via Telstra 4g. How are you accessing it, can you try from a different computer or phone?

It is almost instant for me at home as well on ipad or pc. I suspect it may be an internet speed issue

Hi Uwe - I've also tried the 'what did you get in the mail' thread on my home pc (a mac) - again it just came up blank after a reasonable wait period. I don't have the same problems with other webs sites.

I also tried the same thread on my mobile - 4G - same result. It seems to want to download the whole thread - even if I click on the double arrows. Last site only download 1 page .. perhaps I need to change something in my account settings?

Found the solution .. go into user setting and change post per page away from default to 10 a page .. works a dream now. Maybe you can update the site default to 10 a page ?
