Thanks Tom I am just trying to stay faithful to the original idea of building the best possible replica 72 ST with using only original or perfect reproduction parts
which is not an easy or cheap task
Those 2 items cost me over $6000 Aussie landed😂Clyde Boyer

Clyde
Besides looking fantastic and costing a Sh!t load what is the advantage of running that oil cooler ?
My understanding is that as cooling was taken care of by right and left oil cooler that further filtering was substituted and with the removable and cleanable paper cartridge filter this was an easy deal.Last edited by Terminator; 05-03-16, 10:24 PM.Craig

ST motor making some real progress
Here is a pic of a factory correct cartridge oil filter attached to the ST motor which replaces the oil cooler found at the back of other motors.
Cartridge is removal and cleanable after each race meeting...LOL that will never happen.
Cooling is of course taken car of by the twin oil coolers up front.Attached FilesClyde Boyer
