Car looks sensational. They are becoming a bit common though....

Andrew, can you advise where this is stated? I can't find any reference to this requirement. My car is getting its last check before being transported to Adelaide. Please tell me that this is just a joke!
                          Regards

This what I think some friends were referring to:

                            Link:

CAMS : Tarmac Rally Technical Regulations - Classic - Page 7

                            7.10 fuel pumps
On any automobile with electric fuel pump/s, the power supply to all such fuel pump/s must be cut off after a maximum of a six second absence of crankshaft revolution. Any automobile subject of a CAMS Historic Certificate of Description or FIA Historic Documentation, with which the automobile remains in compliance, are exempted from this requirement.

Does it apply to us ? I dont know ? Only found it late last night...

Anyone. Perhaps Ryan you're the documents expert. Then, so is Howard ? He suggested it....

Isn't that what the battery cut off does?

nope, if you stop the engine (without using the cut off) the crankshaft will no longer rotate but the fuel pump will still run.
