Correct '68 only washer bottles are unicorns .... but it's all the little details that add up!
I have the washer bottle my car appears as though it should have the same bracket as 69-73 cars with the hole in the front slam panel but pump seperate.
Front slam panel obviously replaced at some stage so need to get the hole saw in action firstClyde Boyer

Taking the advice of some other members I had the car detailed then ceramic coated, it came up amazing, really added the missing wow factor back to the paint.
Apart from the couple of known blemishes the detailer surprised me by saying it was an excellent paint job with plenty of paint on the car.
He was so pleased how it came up I think it might get used in his promotional info soon.

68 has the pump on the pedestal and the washer bottle on the bracket - no moulding on the washer bottle to hang the pump ...?

Do you know if the correct 68 washer bottle has a filler neck that comes through the front slam panel like 69-73 does as I have 2 bottles both sellers claiming them to be correct for 68
I thought it did if so I will have to drill the hole as I think based on the drain holes the front slam panel has been replaced on this car at some stageClyde Boyer

Got it sorted
For my car a later 68
pump mounted seperately...check
washer bottle with neck through latch panel...have bottle, hole to be drilled
washer bottle bracket as per 69-73...have bracket ready for installation
Good thing Dave is back at work.

Neck definitely through the latch panel.

Clyde,
I know others have already chimed in but I had a look at my July 68 build. Washer bottle neck is through the latch panel and pump mounted on L shaped bracket between battery and washer bottle. Washer bottle a more bulbous shape than that shown in your internet photo.
Enjoy the differences in owning a 68! Happy days.
