It all adds value Paul and gets you closer to the track as well. Will be a great car. You guys know so much about these old cars and I hope that the next generation of owners is as knowledgeable.

That looks better, were the torsion bars replaced by coil overs? 993 rear suspension?

It runs turbo trailing arms but the rest is custom. All the mounting points have been moved and have lots of adjustment. Runs coil overs and Proflex shocks.
        The front is similar.

Got the other side done now as well. I think the panel guy is doing a good job making a lot of these inserts from scratch.

              Worst Job Done!

The floors in this car were a line ball replacement decision. No rust but very banged up with lots of holes and cut outs as you'd expect from a car that's spent the last 20 years racing.
Jason Storey is doing the work. He's just set up shop in a little town outside of Gympie. Not too far a drive for us Sunny Coasters.
I'm very happy with the quality and value for money so far.
Will be a shame to cover this up with stone guard!

I'm 1/2 tempted to cut the cage out and make it a road car but that buggers up my excuse of having to buy a new Amarok to tow it with.
