There are varying opinions on how much power brings the best out in these cars.
I reckon the sweet spot is somewhere around 200HP.

I'm heading up to check progress next Tuesday if and Sunshine Coasters interested in doing a run?
The car is at a workshop just west of Gympie. Some nice driving roads for a 356 Jim!

My lightweight rear indicator housings from DP Motorsport turned up the other day.
A bit rough but that's pretty normal for fiberglass stuff.

That is an extreme build, it made me go out to check the weight of my tail light housings

I guess it's all relative , I would say they are not heavy, but before I had seen the picture of Pauls car I thought this was a fat arse
Paul is taking his car to a different level.

                              First Mistake?

In my quest for lightness and cost control I went for fiberglass rear quarters from GT Racing in the states. Freight and duty costs tripled the cost of these by the time I got them. Now I find they have not been moulded with returns for the door frame, rear side window or tail light housings so these had to be sourced and grafted on.
Will be interesting to see how much this will end up costing me compared to going steel?
