Yeah but they won't send samples, even offerred to pay, you have to cut up your original car vinyl and trust them.

      Good luck with that!!!

I may have a batch of their samples hiding I'll have a look.

Also 307 fawn from auto Intl is worth having a look at

If I cannot find my samples - I suggest the 'club' shells out and buys a comprehensive swatch set???

I have some of the one on the LHS of that sample - the next darkest brown.

Fixing a few of the details....as I am want to do from time to time

Chrome horn grille's gone in favour of correct black plastic

Washer bottle re instated, which had been replaced with a much smaller and skinnier one due to a bunch of non std relays installed on the front wall for the bumper fog lights, right where the washer bottle should be.

Had to add the support bracket, still available from Porsche fortunately.

Loctite 480 glued it in place boy that stuff sticks!!!

Most of the pressure on this piece is downward so didn't worry about tack welding at this stage.

Fitted the group buy fuse box cover then realised its bottom support clip was also missing so Dave made me one in about 5 mins and liquid nails will do the rest tomorrow. Hopefully that will stop the cover from pushing out of its side supports, thats is what it is supposed to do!!

It takes a bit more outward pressure so didn't think the loctite would be sufficient again tack weld at a later date.

That Loctite 480 is good stuff. That vinyl sample should come tomorrow I believe Clyde.

Yes Merv but makes a mess of your fingers if your not careful.

It was you who put me onto it ....thanks think it was the rear spring plate rubbers you used it for that alerted me to the product

More playing today, removed the engine lid as all the holes for the PORSCHE lettering had been filled in so doing some cleaning before re drilling and re installing.

                            Half completed

Tricky little job there Clyde. It would be good to use the same holes if you can easily find them?

Yes Merv very tricky I suspect

I can see the holes from underneath, not welded, just filled I think.

I am going to get a template from another lid and after I drill the first and last holes use the template to help line up the rest

Hopefully there isn't any great amount of filler involved or I might be needing a lid repaint!!
